Insight’s WASP Charging Gateway aims the mitigate common issue like intermittent connectivity, thread limits, and latency issues. The WASP Charging Gateway is also provisioned with an additional Customer Care interface that will be available to the network operator’s support team. This enables visibility and control over a WASPs current subscription and charging models. This will allow the network operator to provide meaningful customer support to WASP subscribers.

A WASP creates, sells and distributes mobile content to subscribers via a mobile operator’s network and infrastructure.

WASPs can generate revenue by providing premium content that subscribers are willing to pay for, such as:

 Content are delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis based on the subscribers’ preference and chosen subscription.
